Dear Friends & Family,

This past year I've had the opportunity to be a Big Sister to a wonderful second-grader named Lea. We meet once or twice a week at her school to talk, read, and play together. I've even been able to go with her class on a field trip to the zoo. Spending time with Lea has given me a renewed sense of purpose and has become the highlight of my week. My hope is that Lea and I will remain together until she goes off to college. Although everyone who participates as a Big Brother or Big Sister donates his/her time, it costs about $1,000 to faciliate each match on an administrative basis. So I have set a goal of raising $1,000, which would allow one more child to get off the rather lengthy waiting list and become a little sibling to a caring adult. Please consider a donation of whatever size might be comfortable for you.
