I have served as Big Brother to Jay since he started fourth grade at South Knoxville Elementary. Now, he’s a junior at Clinton High where he excels in academics and plays on the baseball team. Jay is a responsible young man with a promising future. More recently, I accepted the challenge to mentor Ayden during his four years at South Doyle High School. I enjoy helping him prepare for college and career.
BBBS recruits and trains adult volunteers to mentor at-risk children. In our Knoxville area, more than 100 boys and girls wait to be matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister. The award-winning agency invests about $1250 per year to support each match of Big and Little.
I ask you to join me in providing funds to enable one eager child to connect with a kind-hearted mentor. I donated $100 toward my team goal of $1250. Will you help by donating $25, $50 or $100 to my Bowl For Kids’ Sake team?

Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee’s largest and longest-running fundraiser. The event brings together more than 1,000 supporters throughout East Tennessee for celebratory, one-hour bowling parties. Donations made to Bowl For Kids’ Sake defend the potential of hundreds of youth — last year, BBBS-ETN made 142 matches through Bowl for Kids’ Sake.
