Dear Friends,
I've been a Big Sister to Lea for over four years. When we met, she was in 2nd grade. Now she's in middle school! I'm proud to say that she is in all honors classes and doing very well. We enjoy museums, concerts, plays, movies, aquariums, and even opera! We also just enjoy hanging out at McDonald's or taking long walks. Having Lea in my life has been an absolute joy. As President of Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee, I'm more involved in the organization than ever and am thrilled with the life-changing matches we create. It takes a little over $1,000 to create, sustain, and manage each match for a year. I'm hoping you'll join me in helping create a match and get another deserving child off the waiting list! Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee’s largest and longest-running fundraiser. The event brings together more than 1,000 supporters throughout East Tennessee for celebratory, one-hour bowling parties. Donations made to Bowl For Kids’ Sake defend the potential of hundreds of youth — last year, BBBS-ETN made 142 matches through Bowl for Kids’ Sake.
